Neena Gupta’s recent Malayalam OTT series ‘1000 Babies’ was released on October 18, and the psychological thriller gained decent reviews from fans and audiences alike. She has been seen in other acclaimed projects like ‘Panchayat’ and ‘Lust Stories.’ The actress recently revealed that she has now learned to say no to some work that she does not find worthy.
In a chat with India Today, Neena shared that she felt upset about getting good work very late in her career. However, she added that she is thankful to God for giving her some good opportunities, even if it is late.

The ‘Masaba Masaba’ actress always tries to go with the flow, but she felt like a beggar with no option to say no. Neena shared her newfound ability to say no to projects she dislikes, describing it as a liberating experience. “As they say, beggars can never be choosers. Because of money, I had to accept everything that was offered to me,” she stated.
Recently, she declined a significant film opportunity that didn’t align with her preferences, and the privilege to reject the role brought her certain happiness.
‘1000 Babies’ also featured Rahman and Sanju Sivram in key roles. The actress expressed her desire to do good films, as she is never bothered about the language.
The fourth season of her acclaimed series ‘Panchayat’ has started filming, and the makers confirmed it by sharing some behind-the-scenes photos through their official social media handle. ‘Panchayat Season 4’ is created by Deepak Kumar Mishra, with writing by Chandan Kumar and direction helmed by Mishra alongside Akshat Vijaywargiya.
