Nia Sharma is a prominent face in the Indian television industry. She is known for her roles in serials like Naagin 4, Ishq Mein Marjawan and Jamai Raja among others. The 33-year-old was also a part of several reality shows. However, putting a pause on her hectic schedule, Nia Sharma took a 4-year sabbatical from her work commitments. Now, she is back on the small screen with the new supernatural drama show Suhaagan Chudail. Ahead of its premiere on May 27, the makers have treated viewers with a hilarious promotional clip, featuring Nia Sharma and a special reference to the internet trend Ganji Chudail. The unexpected crossover has left social media users in splits.

Nia displays some supernatural tricks shocking the other animated humans when Ganji Chudail drops by. Through the clip, the audience also gets an inkling of the plot of Suhaagan Chudail. It concludes with Suhaagan and Ganji Chudail flying across the sky. “Suhagan Chudail ke solahve shringaar ki khoj laayi usse Gangi Chudail ke gaon mein. Kaisa laga aapko yeh epic crossover?” read the caption of the video.
The unusual encounter between the two witches took everyone by surprise and the viewers were quick to react to it. Actress Surbhi Jyoti could not control her laughter as she commented, “Hahhahahahhhahaa bang on” and added a fire emoji. Actress Krystle D’Souza called the promotional video a, “Crossover no one expected.” Uttaran fame Tina Dutt quipped, “This is epic.” Her co-star Sreejita Dey dropped multiple laughing emojis.
Recently the makers of Suhaagan Chudail dropped an intriguing teaser that featured Nia Sharma as Nishigandha aka the titular character trying to separate two lovers Moksha (played by Zayn) and Deeya (played by Debachandrima) with her ’15 Shringaaron ki Shakti’.
Apart from Nia Sharma, Suhaagan Chudail also stars Zayn Ibad Khan and Debchandrima in the lead roles. Suhaagan Chudail will air from Monday to Friday at 10:30 PM. Viewers can also watch the show on the OTT platform Jio Cinema.
