NTR Jr’s Devara jumps by nearly 200 % in 4 days for its USA premiere shows Filmymeet

ETimes was first to reveal last week, that advance sales of NTR Jr’s Devara will be kick starting from the last weekend of August and since then, the film has been causing a rampage at the ticket window. The film had crossed Rs 1 crore mark within the first few days for its premiere shows, despite having very limited showcasing, and now with less than 3 weeks to go for the release of the film, it is poised to take one of the biggest premiere days numbers for NTR Jr.He is coming back on the big screen post the success of SS Rajamouli’s RRR.

When we last reported the number, the booking for the film was opened in only 22 locations, but now that number has jumped to 207 locations and number of shows have also jumped to nearly 600. The film which is slated to release on 27th September, has already amassed more than US $ 411,000 ( Rs 3.45 crore)
The film also marks Saif Ali Khan’s Telugu debut as the main antagonist, with Janhvi Kapoor starring as the leading lady. On Saif’s birthday, August 16th, the makers unveiled his first look as Bhaira. A few months ago, it was revealed that Devara will be split into two parts. While Saif plays the villain in the first part, Bobby Deol is reportedly the antagonist in the second. The makers also released a new song called Devudi, which sees Janhvi matching step by step with NTR Jr, and the song has already become a rage on social media platform.
