Recently, Prakash Raj took to X (formerly Twitter) to share an image with Udhayanidhi Stalin, who has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.Also present in the photo was MK Stalin, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and Udhayanidhi’s father. Along with the image, Prakash Raj wrote, “With a Deputy CM… #justasking.”
In response to this tweet, producer S. Vinod Kumar, known for backing films like Vishal and Arya’s Enemy and Vishal and SJ Suryah’s Mark Antony, called out the veteran actor, claiming that Prakash Raj caused him a loss of ₹1 crore by disappearing from the sets without informing anyone.
Sharing his frustration, Vinod Kumar wrote, “The other three personalities sitting with you have won elections, but you lost your deposit; that’s the difference. You caused a loss of ₹1 crore on my set by disappearing from the caravan without informing us! What was the reason?! #Justasking!!! You said you would call me, but you didn’t!!”
As of now, Prakash Raj has not responded to the tweet, but social media is buzzing with speculation about which film the producer is referring to. Prakash Raj and Vinod Kumar have previously worked together on Enemy, which was released in 2021.
Prakash Raj was last seen in Jr NTR’s Devara and will next be seen in Ram Charan’s Game Changer, Suriya’s Kanguva, and Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film.
