Actor Rajinikanth was hospitalized last night in Chennai after the actor complained of stomach ache. Following the regular health checkup, the hospital, in an official report, confirmed that Rajinikanth will undergo an elective procedure performed by a cardiologist on Tuesday.
Updating on Rajinikanth’s health, his wife Latha Rajinikanth said, “All is well.” Following the surgery on Tuesday morning, the actor has a stent placed near his lower abdominal area, and News 18 reported that through sources it was revealed that the actor is now stable and is under observation.
The hospital has decided to keep the actor in special care for the next 2-3 days and will be recuperating there. The superstar actor’s sudden admission at the hospital raised concerns among many, especially his fans, who took to Twitter to share their “Get well soon” message to the actor.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin also expressed his wishes to Rajinikanth to get well soon. On the work front, Rajinikanth is currently shooting for ‘Coolie‘ with Lokesh Kanagaraj and will likely take a break from shooting the action entertainer. The movie is standalone and not part of LCU. It features Rajinikanth, Sathyaraj, Upendra Rao, Nagarjuna, Shoubin Shahir, and Shruti Haasan, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
He also has the release of ‘Vettaiyan‘ on October 10. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the film stars Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, Abhirami, and Rakshan. The music for it is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
