The makers of Ramayana: The Legend Of Prince Rama have announced the release date of the movie. The movie will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and English.
After much anticipation, the makers of Ramayana: The Legend Of Prince Rama have announced the release date of the animated movie. Geek Pictures India have issued a statement and have mentioned that the anime adaptation of Valmiki’s Ramayana will be released in theatres on October 18 in Indian languages along with its original English version.
Geek Pictures India took to their Instagram and shared the official statement. The statement revealed that the animated film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The movie has been remastered in 4K resolution. The statement said, “While preserving the original English dialogue and maintaining the iconic, powerful visuals as they were originally conceived, we aim to offer a renewed cinematic experience that resonates with children and families across India.”

The statement revealed that the new version will comply with the latest guidelines set by the Ministry Of Information and Broadcasting. Fans took to the comment section to express how excited they were to catch this animated film on the screens. Additionally, fans from other Asian countries also urged the makers to release the film in their countries as well. The makers of Ramayana: The Legend Of Prince Rama have roped in screenwriter Shri V. Vijayendra Prasad for the adaptation. The renowned screenwriter has worked on blockbusters like Baahubali, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and RRR. With the release, the team hopes to appeal to the younger generation with this classic.
The film will be released around Dussehra and Diwali and is a blend of Indian culture with Japanese anime. The new version of the movie will be distributed in India by Geek Pictures India, AA Films, and Excel Entertainment.
