During the film’s shoot, it was reported that Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan ended their relationship.It was also the same time when it was being said that Ranbir and Katrina had started dating. In a recent interview, producer Ramesh Taurani shared insights about the film’s shoot and spoke highly of Ranbir Kapoor.
In an interview with News18, Taurani denied any rumours of tension on set due to the dynamics between Salman, Katrina and Ranbir. Addressing the misconceptions, Taurani stated, “There was never any tension on set.”
He mentioned that working with Ranbir Kapoor was his biggest takeaway from the film. He also shared that the Animal actor continues to stay in touch even after 15 years of their collaboration. “Ranbir is the kind of actor who, if you work with once, you’ll feel like collaborating with on every film. He’s so good,” Taurani remarked.

He praised Ranbir for not letting stardom get to his head and highlighted how the actor never questioned his directors or filmmakers. “He’s still the same and that’s a very good quality that he has. No matter what is asked of him, he obliges with a simple ‘okay’. Uske chehre pe aapko kabhi shikan nahi dikhegi (you will never see a wrinkle on his face),” Taurani said, calling Ranbir a ‘treat to work with’.
For the uninitiated, Ranbir and Katrina meet on the sets of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and sparks fly between them during the shoot. They officially broke up in 2016. Both Ranbir and Katrina are now happily married to their respective spouses Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal respectively. Salman, however, has remained single till date.
