Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are one of the most celebrated couples in Bollywood. There was a humorous moment when Ranbir joked about imagining a future where he marries Alia and even envisions having grandchildren.
During the promotions of ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’, the actor shared a lighthearted story with Nagarjuna about his first meeting with Alia Bhatt. He recalled that they first connected on December 31, 2017, during a flight to Israel for their film’s preparation.It was during this journey that they began talking and getting to know each other better, marking the start of their relationship.

The ‘Animal’ actor revealed that when he and Alia Bhatt first connected during the flight, they were both single, which led to a natural bond forming between them. He humorously shared that they imagined getting married and even having grandkids while the plane was taking off, suggesting that their connection was strong and immediate from the very beginning. “I think that day only we got married in our heads. We had already thought of grandkids,” he mentioned.

Ranbir and Alia began dating during the filming of ‘Brahmastra Part One’, where Nagarjuna had a cameo role. The couple got married in an intimate ceremony in April 2022, just five months before the film’s release. Later that year, in November 2022, they welcomed their baby daughter, Raha.
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor is busy shooting for Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayan’, while Alia Bhatt is filming YRF’s first spy film, ‘Alpha’. They will soon collaborate on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War’.
