Now, In a recent interview with NewsX Live, the actress shared that the Mumbai Police believe the attack was pre-planned. She also revealed that Richa Chadha experienced a similar mob incident just a day later.
Raveena expressed her concern about the ongoing mob incidents in Mumbai, describing them as planned attacks meant to intimidate.She revealed that the day after her own mob attack, her friend Richa Chadha reached out to share that she had experienced a similar incident. Unfortunately, there were no CCTV cameras to capture the events, and Richa had to settle the matter, as the police advised her to do so.She revealed that the police have concluded her mob incident was premeditated, likely aimed at extorting money. Raveena suggested that the attackers intended to intimidate her into paying a settlement. She recounted how aggressive the mob was, even attempting to enter her house while her children were upstairs and her husband was away. Male members of her staff were being assaulted, prompting Raveena and two long-time female staff members to stand at the gate to prevent anyone from entering. The mob demanded that they surrender the driver, but Raveena insisted that if he was at fault, they should wait for the police to handle it. She questioned the mob’s actions, urging them to stop the violence, highlighting the chaotic nature of a mob frenzy when people act collectively.
In June, a viral video captured a group of locals accusing Raveena Tandon and her driver of assaulting three women. When Raveena exited her vehicle to address the crowd, she was reportedly pushed and hit during the confrontation.
