Following a complaint from a dance troupe accusing Remo D’Souza, his wife Lizelle, and others of allegedly defrauding them of Rs 11.96 crore, the choreographer stepped forward with a clarification to address the allegations.

As reported by PTI, a 26-year-old dancer lodged a complaint against Remo, Lizelle, and five others. The police revealed that a case has been registered in Thane district, Maharashtra, for allegedly cheating a dance troupe of Rs 11.96 crore. The complaint was filed on October 16 at Mira Road police station under sections of the Indian Penal Code, including forgery (465) and cheating (420).
According to the FIR, the 26-year-old dancer and his troupe were allegedly cheated between 2018 and July 2024. The complainant claimed that despite performing and winning a reality TV show, the accused falsely represented the troupe as their own and took the prize money of Rs 11.96 crore.
