After the vibrant Diwali celebrations, Delhi is struggling with toxic smog with AQI levels rising over 400. Now the actress Richa Chadha has reacted to this heartbreaking issue by sharing a video of firecrackers burning while the city is caught up in air quality issues.

Taking to her official Twitter handle, Richa Chadha re-Tweeted a video shared by a user. The video shows a group of people burning firecrackers while the city is literally struggling to breathe.

While re-sharing the video, Richa also penned an emotional note saying that it’s heartbreaking to see such incidents happening in Delhi. Her Tweet read, “The death sentence called life in Delhi… the city of my childhood, my school, my roots… Heartbreaking to see the apathy and sheer hatred for one-selves. Politicians will do nothing unless we learn to speak up for ourselves.” The original video was shared with a sarcastic and apt caption that read, “Celebrating 1000+ AQI.”

Meanwhile, the actress Parineeti Chopra and husband Raghav Chadha were trolled recently for cycling amid Delhi’s severe AQI levels. A viral clip posted by a paparazzi account shows Parineeti and her husband enjoying their ride near Raisina Hill which is a high security zone.
Parineeti and Raghav can be seen taking a cycle rise through the empty streets and both of them were looking relaxed and unfazed by the issues happening in Delhi. One netizen commented, “Take in the pollution… Yyyyummmm.” Another one commented, “Breathless romance in Paris.”
