Directed by Nag Ashwin, the upcoming mythological sci-fi action drama movie ‘Kalki 2898 AD‘ starring Prabhas has been the talk of the town since its announcement, with the makers organizing immense promotional activities. The movie is set to release tomorrow on June 27th. Fellow actors from the industry have also been appreciating the film’s potential to be a blockbuster never seen before.
Sai Pallavi, one of the prominent actresses in the industry, expressed her excitement on Instagram.She shared a poster of the film and conveyed her admiration for the director and the courage of the team. She wrote, “To the director who never ceases to amaze, the most courageous team and one hell of a cast!!! Sending heartfelt prayers, love and positivity! Kalki 2898 AD, I’m rooting for you.”
Set in a dystopian future, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ revolves around a futuristic society where the people who are oppressed by the dark forces are awaiting a saviour, it centres on Kalki, the final incarnation of the Hindu deity Lord Vishnu.’Kalki 2898 AD’ is touted to be the most expensive film to produce in the country with the film’s budget reported to be around Rs. 600 crore.
The film has a star-studded cast including Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani playing key roles.
