A long time hype has been created for the new film ‘Yek Number‘. This film is going to be based on Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray. The trailer of the most waited film was released on September 25 at Mumbai, and many big stars were seen gracing with film personalities in Bollywood, like Aamir Khan, the film producer Sajid Nadiadwala, the famous directors Rajkumar Hirani, and Ashutosh Gowariker.
While the trailer launch was a star-studded affair, the talking point moment was Sajid Nadiadwala’s surprising revelation. In his speech, he took a personal turn and went ahead to share one unexpected detail from his life as a prolific producer. “I have to say something emotional. My family had come to Maharashtra in 1950. 74 years of film production. This state has given me a law degree, made me a chartered accountant, and made me a producer,” said Sajid, leaving the audience, including Aamir Khan, shell-shocked.
It seemed Aamir was genuinely surprised to hear that Sajid was a qualified chartered accountant. He just couldn’t hide his shock while listening to this piece of information. The shocking reaction of Aamir led to laughter from the audience.
Yek Number seems to shape up to be a very interesting movie, from the gripping storyline to an extremely powerful message. Directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, written by Tejaswini Pandit and Dhairya Gholap, the film shall take a very deep look at Raj Thackeray’s journey through the Maharashtra political landscape.
