Salman Khan continues ‘Sikandar’ shoot despite rib injury: Reports | Filmymeet

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan had fans alarmed when he appeared to be in pain while attending an event in Mumbai on Wednesday. The incident came to light after videos circulated on social media, showing Khan visibly uncomfortable at the ‘Bacche Bole Morya’ event, where he advocated for cleanliness and an eco-friendly Ganesh Chaturthi celebration.
In the viral clips, the actor could be seen wincing as he touched his right rib cage, sparking concern among fans who quickly took to social media to share their concerns.Another clip saw him struggling to get up from a low sofa.

Event organiser Amruta Fadnavis acknowledged the actor’s dedication, saying, “Today he got hurt, he is not well, still he came. It shows his commitment towards the environment. Thank you so much.”

While it remains unclear whether the injury occurred on the set of ‘Sikandar‘, a source close to the actor confirmed that he had indeed suffered a rib injury. However, the source assured fans that there is no cause for alarm. “Nothing to worry about. The shoot of Sikandar is on schedule, not pushed,” the source told PTI.

Amidst the news of the injury, rumours were rife that the shoot of his next film had been halted. However, the latest reports confirm that despite the injury, Khan has maintained his work schedule.

Khan is currently immersed in the production of ‘Sikandar’, an action-packed film directed by AR Murugadoss. The highly anticipated movie boasts a star-studded cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Prateik Babbar, and Baahubali fame Sathyaraj. The film is set to hit theatres on Eid 2025.
