Sanjay Mishra is gearing up for the release of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3‘, and he recently shared his experience working with Amitabh Bachchan in an advertisement. Initially, he thought someone was playing a prank on him about the shoot.
In a recent chat with Bollywood Bubble, Sanjay revealed that he was approached for the advertisement shoot in 1997-1998. He shared a humorous anecdote about receiving a call from Amitabh Bachchan, which he initially mistook for a prank. After ignoring the first call, he was informed at home that it was indeed Bachchan, and they arranged a meeting. During this meeting, Sanjay expressed his lifelong wish to work with Bachchan before he died. “I touched Bachchan sir’s feet and said that it was my wish to work with him before dying. And he quickly asked, ‘Kiske marne ke pehle?’ (before whose death?)” he recalled.

The ‘Bed Stories’ actor recounted feeling nervous while working with Amitabh Bachchan but was struck by the superstar’s humble nature. He shared an incident where he initially refused to use a small washroom on set, finding it inadequate. However, when he saw Bachchan using the same washroom without complaint, Sanjay reconsidered, thinking, “If he can use it, who am I to refuse?”
The actor further stated, “He (Bachchan) made me feel so relaxed. I was a nobody, and he was a big star. Yet, my day with him was beautiful.” Sanjay shared that during the dubbing for the advertisement, Amitabh Bachchan praised his performance, which gave him more confidence. The actor humbly responded, saying he performed well only because he had the opportunity to share the screen with Bachchan.
