In these last 40 years, her journey as an actress has impacted many people and one of them was Vidya Balan, who decided to become an actress after seeing her dance on ‘Ek Do Teen…’ from ‘Tezaab‘. Talking about it an interview with ETimes, the actress said , “Vidya did tell me that, it was so sweet of her .”
“ That’s what you work for, you want to create that impact. Every song that I’ve done with Saroj ji, I knew that I loved her and I also knew that I would be working with her for a long time. We sat and we discussed and I told her that “
“Every song we do should be unique, and we made a pact that we will never repeat the steps and every hook will be different. So if people just see the movement, they should know what song it is, or if they listen to the song, they know what movement is in this song. And then she was fed up with me one day because I kept telling her we’ve used this moment before and she would go ‘Why do you have an elephant’s memory?’ and used to be like it’s our pact and we got to stick to it” she added.
“ You know, I’ve tried to do something better, greater, it may not have always worked that way, but our efforts and the way we did it was, as if we want to create something that’s forever, for perpetuity people should always remember” she concluded.
The 2024 is also memorable for her as she completes 25 years of her marriage to Dr Sriram Nene, the couple were celebrating their moment with a holiday in Greece.
