Adria English, a former adult film star, has officially filed a criminal complaint against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs nearly a month after initiating a $50 billion civil lawsuit.
According to Daily Mail, English alleged that Diddy, coerced her into sex trafficking, forcing her to engage in sexual activities with party guests under the threat of blackmail.According to her claims, the singer “groomed” her for these activities and directed her to engage in sexual activity with jeweller Jacob Arabov, also known as “Jacob the Jeweler.”
English is suing Diddy, Arabov, and other alleged co-conspirators, with the civil suit filed in federal court last month.
The latest development, as reported by TMZ, sees English reiterating her allegations to the Miami Beach Police Department. Despite her statements, authorities have reportedly indicated there is “not enough evidence” to pursue a ‘human trafficking‘ investigation at this time, though the report will be shared with federal agencies conducting “parallel investigations.”

English’s attorney, Ariel Mitchell, expressed her optimism in a statement to US Weekly, saying, “Ms. English is very excited and cautiously optimistic about her journey to justice starting with the filing of her civil lawsuit on July 3, 2024, and now with the filing of a criminal complaint with the Miami Beach Police Department.”
Mitchell also mentioned that English hopes to file an additional criminal complaint in New York, though logistical challenges have delayed this effort. In the civil lawsuit, the complaint details how she was allegedly drugged with narcotics like ecstasy at parties hosted by Diddy, and coerced into flirting with guests. The suit claims she was forced into sexual intercourse with Diddy and paid an additional $1,000 beyond her usual fee.
The lawsuit names Jacob Arabov and Tamiko Thomas as defendants, alongside Diddy’s entertainment company, Bad Boy.

According to the report, English compared Thomas to Ghislaine Maxwell and Diddy to Jeffrey Epstein, asserting that the two worked together to traffic her and other women. She alleged that Diddy used promises of ‘advancing her career in the music industry’ as leverage, threatening to blacklist her and her boyfriend if they did not comply.
English recounts that her initial experience at a Diddy-hosted party in 2004 appeared to be a legitimate job opportunity with no requirements for physical contact. However, she claims that subsequent events at Diddy’s Hampton Estates took a darker turn. The report further goes to state that English eventually escaped the situation by returning to California in 2009, but has since suffered from emotional trauma, intimacy issues, and painful memories. Her lawsuit reveals that she was hospitalized in 2010 due to mental illness linked to her alleged trafficking experience.
Diddy’s attorney, Jonathan Davis, has firmly denied the allegations, stating, “No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone.”
