Arijit Singh’s voice has a magical and soothing effect on the listeners and recently the talented singer Shaan praised the outrolls in Arijit’s songs. For the unversed, outrolls is the section that ends a song.
In a conversation on The Ranveer Show, Shaan was all in praises for Arijit’s signature outrolls as he said, “’Gaane ke end mein, jaise ke trance mein chala jaata hai’,” which translates, “It’s like he enters a trance by the end of the song’”

Shaan also revealed that Arijit’s honesty is evident in his music and this allows the listeners to connect the songs on a personal level.Shaan further said that this emotional connection is the key reason why Arijit’s songs are popular.
Shaan added that he usually wonders how Arijit surrenders to a song and he renders songs like the popular ‘Tum Hi Ho’ from the romantic drama film ‘Aashiqui 2’. Shaan said that the audiences can feel the truth and honesty in his singing, and this part impresses them.
Citing an example of Arijit’s song ‘Channa Mereya, Shaan said that he thought his voice was cracking and also some notes lacked clarity. But this, according to Shaan, is the best example of how honest Arijit is towards his songs.
Shaan also said in the interview that during his starting phase in the film industry, a singer was not allowed to add his own interpretations to a song. Singers usually had to follow the path laid by the music composers like Anu Malik or Nadeem-Shravan, without their own interpretations.
