The prayer meeting of veteran photographer Pradeep Bandekar, who passed away earlier this month was held in Mumbai. It saw the presence of some of the biggest names in the industry, including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Sham Kaushal among others. Now, a picture of Bollywood icons Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan warmly embracing each other at the gathering has gone viral on social media.
On Twiiter, an Shah Rukh Khan fan page shared a photo capturing the moment when the actor warmly greeted his close friend Shah Rukh Khan at the prayer meet. At the prayer meet, Shah Rukh Khan was seen arriving at the venue with his manager, Pooja Dadlani, greeting people before heading inside to meet the grieving family.

Aamir Khan attended the prayer meet, where he was seen offering his condolences to the Bandekar family. He was accompanied by veteran actor Jackie Shroff. Other notable attendees included Vidya Balan, Varun Dhawan, Vicky Kaushal along with his father, action director Sham Kaushal, and Anil Kapoor, all gathered to pay their respects.
Meanwhile, Prathamesh Bandekar recently paid tribute to his late father, Pradeep Bandekar, with an emotional message on Instagram. He expressed his profound grief, emphasizing that his father was more than just a skilled photographer. “He was not only my father but also a mentor, a friend who supported me through every challenge, and someone who wasn’t afraid to push me towards greatness, even if it meant tough love. He was a devoted student of life, always learning from and growing with his granddaughter, and he shared his boundless wisdom with everyone around him,” he wrote.
