Shah Rukh Khan’s journey from a nobody to a global icon is all things eventful and inspiring. The actor didn’t have a godfather to hold his hand or launch him, he worked day in and out to make his empire and to be its king. And perhaps that is one of the reasons why he always with a pride wears the tag of an outsider.
Even recently, at an award function, Shah Rukh said that he to date is an outsider. This happened when his co-host at the event Vicky Kaushal questioned SRK – despite his global fame, why doesn’t he sign any Hollywood movie? With a personality like his, why doesn’t he do a movie such as ‘The Godfather.’
Shah Rukh Khan who is known for his quick wit and word game, gave an amazing response to the query. He said, “Cappola ne bahut chakkar lagaye but I told him I don’t need a godfather, I am an outsider and not a nepo.”
Then he humorously referred to ‘Bad Newz’ star Vicky Kaushal “industry ke bachche.”
Besides winning hearts with his witty remarks, Shah Rukh Khan leaves an everlasting mark with his humble nature. At the same event, the actor was recognized for his work, and when he stepped onto the stage, he met the legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam. Upon meeting him, he straight away bowed down to touch his feet and then gave him a tight hug. This gesture showed that despite his immense fame and success, Shah Rukh has not left behind his culture, the tradition of respecting the elders and seniors.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up to share the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan. The father and daughter will be seen together in 2025’s much-awaited movie – ‘King.’ Apart from the Khans, Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in the movie. He will be seen portraying the character of the antagonist.
