Shah Rukh Khan is a highly esteemed actor and a source of inspiration for countless fans, known for his charismatic and respectful demeanor. His quick wit and talent for sarcasm have established him as one of the most popular hosts in Bollywood. Recently, he showcased his outstanding showmanship once more by co-hosting an award ceremony in Abu Dhabi alongside fellow actor Vicky Kaushal.
Shah Rukh and Vicky’s on-stage camaraderie won Bollywood fans over, as their dance videos also went viral on the internet. SRK lightheartedly teased both himself and his fellow actors during the event. At one moment, he jokingly asserted that he had experienced everything in the industry, claiming that major projects usually come to him before they are offered to other stars. When Vicky mentioned several films, Shah Rukh humorously detailed his reasons for ‘turning down’ those roles. Among the movies he referenced was Advait Chandan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, which stars Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in leading roles. When Vicky asked whether ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ was first offered to him, SRK added, “Even Aamir Khan shouldn’t have done that movie,” which left everyone laughing, and Shah Rukh soon added, “I love you, Aamir!”
Karan Johar Trolled For Touching Shah Rukh Khan’s Feet
Aamir Khan’s 2022 movie ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ faced significant backlash, and the actor took a break from acting for a while.
Vicky did not give up; he again asked whether Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, directed by Sukumar, was offered to Shah Rukh. The King Khan replied, “Oh my god, yaar! You’ve touched on something that still hurts. I really wanted to do ‘Pushpa’, but I couldn’t match Allu Arjun sir’s swag.”
Allu Arjun won the first National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. He is gearing up for the release of the much-awaited sequel, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, on December 6. Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna will also reprise their roles in this film.
