Fans congregate at Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat home in Mumbai. If you stroll around Bandra’s seafront neighbourhood, you’ll see that many people keep waiting for hours to catch a glimpse of their King. While others take photographs with the nameplate adorned with diamonds, others continue to watch passing cars, assuming SRK is in one of them. But for the past 35 days, a devoted fan of Shah Rukh has been waiting to see the superstar outside Mannat.
Shaikh Mohammed Ansari, who has been camping outside Mannat for the past 35 days in the hopes of meeting his idol Shah Rukh Khan, traveled from Jharkhand. In an interview with Instant Bollywood, he disclosed that he had closed his business in his hometown and is pursuing Khan.
Ansari shared, “Shah Rukh is my favorite hero. I am his biggest fan. I want to meet him. Meeting him is the biggest victory. I have shut down my business for 35 days, and I will leave soon after he meets me. It has become an obsession now. If I meet him I’ve won.”
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in the film ‘King’ alongside Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan. There are rumors that his movie was influenced by the French film ‘Leon: The Professional’ (1994) in English.
It has been reportedly titled ‘King’. The original film revolves around a professional hitman who reluctantly takes in a twelve-year-old after her family is murdered by a corrupt official. As she grows to be like him and becomes his protégé, the two develop an unusual relationship.
The vengeance drama is being adapted by director Sujoy Ghosh, with Shah Rukh Khan taking on a role previously portrayed by Jean Reno and Suhana taking on the role of Natalie Portman.
Shah Rukh Khan will also be seen sharing screen space with Salman Khan in ‘Tiger vs Pathaan’. The film will reportedly have Tiger (Salman) locking horns with Pathaan, played by Shah Rukh Khan. It will mark their full-fledged collaboration after ‘Karan Arjun’. An official announcement regarding the project is still awaited.
