Shalin was reportedly approached for the 13th edition of Khatron Ke Khiladi; however, he declined the offer.
Rohit Shetty’s popular stunt reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi is all set to return with its latest season, creating a lot of anticipation among fans. While buzz has it that many celebrities have been approached for the show, TV actor Shalin Bhanot is said to be the last contestant to have finally signed for Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. The actor has worked in a number of shows like Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar, Kulvaddhu, Kaajjal, Grihasti, and Naagin 4, among others, Shalin also took part in Bigg Boss 16 and emerged among the top five contestants.
According to an ETimes report, makers have been trying for two years to get Shalin onboard for the KKK, and it has finally happened this time. Considering that he comes as the final contestant of the season, Shalin is yet to join the rest of the cast, while others have already started their preparations.
“The makers were very keen on keeping him (Shalin), and it took them nearly two years to bring him onboard. Shalin may not be flying out with the rest of the cast and crew, as his confirmation has come as a last-minute surprise,” the source said, as quoted by the media outlet. Notably, Shalin was reportedly approached for the 13th edition of Khatron Ke Khiladi; however, he declined the offer and instead signed for Colors TV’s supernatural show, Bekaboo.
Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 contestants
While Bigg Boss star Asim Riaz and Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s sister, Krishna Shroff, were the first confirmed contestants of Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14, a few other names are also believed to have been signed for the stunt reality show.
Popular faces like Shilpa Shinde, Sumona Chakravarti, Aditi Sharma, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Gashmeer Mahajani, Abhishek Kumar, and Abdu Rozik are expected to join the list of contestants this season. The new location is said to be in Romania, and the confirmed contestants are expected to fly to the destination by the end of May to join Rohit Shetty for the shooting.
In 2023, contestants like Shiv Thakare, Aishwarya Sharma, Archana Gautam, Daisy Shah, and others took part in the show, performing high-octane stunts in South Africa. While Dino James emerged as the winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, Arjit Taneja and Aishwarya Sharma were declared the first and second runner-ups respectively.
