The actress confessed she was unsure about accepting the role, as it starkly contrasted with her glamorous Bollywood dreams.
Despite the initial hesitation, she embraced the unexpected path. To her surprise, ‘Train To Pakistan’ became such a learning experience in her Bollywood journey. On the one hand, where it helped her garner so much love, on the other hand, it broadened her perspective on the types of roles she was willing to explore. She said, “The universe has its ways of giving you what you want. You will get what you want, but the ways can be different.”When discussing her approach to selecting roles, the ‘Manto’ star emphasized the importance of intuition.
