The wedding of Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal is set for June 23. It was rumored that Sonakshi’s father, actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha, was upset because she hadn’t informed him of her wedding plans earlier. However, ahead of the wedding, Zaheer and Shatrughan made their first public appearance together on Thursday evening. They smiled and posed for the paparazzi stationed outside the complex.
A viral video on the internet captured the first appearance of Shatrughan Sinha with his soon-to-be son-in-law Zaheer Iqbal ahead of Sonakshi’s wedding.Both were seen embracing and posing in front of the paparazzi. Shatrughan appeared cheerful and even responded to the paparazzi’s request with his trademark phrase, “Khamosh!”
Meanwhile, Sonakshi made her first appearance ahead of her wedding, stepping out of her car and hurriedly entering the apartment building. She did not utter a word to the paparazzi stationed outside.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, who have been in a relationship for seven years, are set to marry in Mumbai on June 23. Confirmation of their wedding date came after their leaked wedding invite appeared online. The invite, designed like a magazine cover, showcases a loving photo of Sonakshi and Zaheer from a vacation. In the candid shot, Zaheer is seen kissing Sonakshi while she smiles.
They both appeared in the film ‘Double XL’, directed by Satram Ramani, alongside Huma Qureshi. Zaheer made his Bollywood debut in 2019 with the romantic drama ‘Notebook’, which Salman Khan produced. In ‘Notebook’, he starred opposite Pranutan Bahl, the granddaughter of the late actress Nutan.
On the work front, Sonakshi Sinha will be seen next in movies like ‘Kakuda’, ‘Nikita Roy’, and ‘The Book of Darkness’.
