Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim’s love blossomed after they first met on the sets of the popular show Sasural Simar Ka. They got married on February 22, 2018.
Popular TV couple Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar enjoy a massive fan base. Both actors often share snippets from their personal lives on social media which captivate their fans. The couple also runs their separate YouTube channels – Dipika Ki Duniya and Shoaib Ibrahim Official. In one of the vlogs, Shoaib recently revealed that his mother had undergone a minor surgery, leaving the family members worried.
In the video, the actor shared, “There’s a small procedure. A minor surgery. It’s a female hormonal issue. I will be able to share details later. We are all worried and Ammi is more worried. I’ve never seen her admitted to a hospital. It’s just a minor surgery but giving anaesthesia and being in that state for 12 to 13 hours, anyone will come anxious.”
Shoaib’s wife and Bigg Boss Season 12 winner Dipika shared that her mother-in-law gets worried even while going for routine check-ups. “Whenever any family member gets admitted to the hospital, even if it is a minor one, it worries all,” she said. Dipika added, “She is talking to us, but gets back in that zone. She has been crying often. Just hope she doesn’t panic during the surgery.”
Meanwhile, Shoaib shared a few glimpses of his mother from the hospital in which she could be seen getting ready for her surgery. The Ajooni actor told his mother that she had been reminding him of his father. “He (his father) also stays this quiet and keeps staring at the roof,” he added.
In the video, Shoaib also informed that the procedure was 30 to 40 minutes long, and the surgery went well. He added that they have been taking care of her as she is on her way to recovery. “She is now resting and will recover soon. She was talking about Ruhaan (Shoaib and Dipika’s son),” he said.

In 2022, Dipika faced a miscarriage which she openly shared and said that it was a very tough period for both of them.
On the work front, Shoaib was recently seen in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 11.
