The much-awaited trailer for Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’ was unveiled on October 8. Notably, ‘Singham Again’ marks the first collaboration between Rohit Shetty and Arjun Kapoor, who plays the antagonist. Arjun’s portrayal of a modern-day Raavan has grabbed attention, with his menacing look making a strong impact in the trailer.
During the media interaction at the ‘Singham Again’ trailer launch, Arjun Kapoor expressed his disbelief at being part of this action-packed entertainer within Rohit Shetty’s cop universe.He shared how he has been pinching himself to believe it.
Reflecting on his earlier attempts to collaborate with Rohit, Arjun said, “I feel honored and blessed that Rohit sir chose me for this film. I’ve gone to cinema halls to watch Golmaal and Singham. In fact, I even reached out to him to express my desire to work with him. I also wanted to collaborate with Ajay sir. I didn’t realize dreams could come true to this extent! I’m a bit overwhelmed by that.”
Arjun Kapoor revealed that it was after watching the third installment of Golmaal that he persistently reached out to Rohit Shetty. He shared, “Whenever I saw ‘Rohit Shetty and team,’ I wanted to be a part of that team. I watched Singham at Chandan Cinemas and Singham Returns at Gaiety. After watching Golmaal 3, I hounded him to express how much I wanted to work with him.”
The action entertainer can also be described as a modern-day adaptation of the Ramayana, featuring an impressive cast that includes Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, and Ravi Kishan.
Meanwhile, ‘Singham Again’ is all set to release in cinemas on November 1 and clash with Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan starrer ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’.
