Singham Again’ did give the industry a reason to be happy as it had a bumper opening and managed to cross Rs 200 crore in the span of 10 days. However, it has kept seeing a dip in the numbers after its opening weekend. The weekday numbers have gradually seen a dip and more so now in week 2. Though the second weekend collections did see a bit of a spike.
On Monday, ‘Singham Again’ saw a drop of around 68 percent from Sunday and only made Rs 4.25 crore which was its all time low number. However, on Tuesday, there was a further reduction, and according to Sacnilk, it made Rs 3.50 crore. The total collection of ‘Singham Again’ now stands at Rs 214.5 crore.
Meanwhile, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ earned better on second Tuesday which was day 12. It made Rs 4.25 crore. While initially, Singham Again had a lead over ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, now the Kartik Aaryan starrer has been like a tortoise which started taking over slowly.
‘Singham Again’ performed well mostly in Mumbai, but ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ has done better in other centres. Overall, of course, while ‘Singham Again’ did make great numbers and perform well, and one cannot take away from that, the budget of the movie was also higher and hence, more money needed to be generated, considering the huge ensemble it had.
