During their engagement, also known as the Nischitaardham ceremony, Sobhita and Chaitanya honoured tradition with their attire designed by Manish Malhotra. The bride-to-be wore a golden blush Uppada silk saree, reflecting her cultural roots, while the groom opted for an ivory brocade and muted gold tussar silk Pattu pancha, laalchi, and kanduva set, adorned with antique gold dori work, celebrating Andhra Pradesh’s craftsmanship.
The couple, who have kept their relationship largely private, have not yet spoken up about their romance or commented publicly on the engagement.
