Actors Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal celebrated their love with a civil ceremony at home on June 23, which was followed by a fun-filled reception party at Bastian with their family and friends from the film industry. The couple have now shared a video filled with candid moments from their wedding reception.
Along with a joint post, Sonakshi and Zaheer wrote, “Shaadi ASMR.Feel it, Enjoy it… like we did 😂😂❤️❤️ Big shout out to all our friends, families and teams for giving us the PERFECT wedding!! Sona aur Zaheer ki shaadi… ek EPICCCCCCC PARTY toh banti haiiiii bosssss!!!”

The video shows Sonakshi and Zaheer celebrating their union and dancing their hearts out with their celebrity friends like Salman Khan, Huma Qureshi, Rajkummar Rao, Aditi Rao Hydari, Kajol, Rekha, Anil Kapoor and several others. It seems like the couple had the time of their life at their grand reception. The video was all about ‘family, friends, love and lots of dance’.
Sonakshi and Zaheer, who dated for 7 years, got married on the same date they fell in love with each other. Sharing their love story post their marriage, the couple wrote, “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. On the work front, Sonakshi has interesting projects in the lineup. She is currently busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Kakuda’ alongside Ritesh Deshmukh and Saqib Saleen. She will be also seen in ‘Nikita Roy’ and ‘The Book of Darkness’.
