For Sunday night’s party, the theme is black and red, and a team of decorators at work in Bastian arranged an array of red flowers and rolled out the red carpet. DJ Ganesh, who’s known for his eclectic choice of music, will be performing live at the reception.

Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding has also been a talking point due to the different faiths that Sonakshi and Zaheer have. It was being rumoured that Shatrughan Sinha was not quite happy about this union, however, he put all these rumours to rest as the families got together over dinner and then posed for the paps together. As Sonakshi will marry a Muslim man, Zaheer’s father Iqbal Ratansi has spoken on this.
Ratansi has clarified in an interview that Sonakshi will not convert to Islam after the couple gets married. He told Free Press Journal that the wedding will neither have Muslim rituals nor Hindu rituals. It will be a civil marriage. He further added, “He is not converting and that is for sure. Theirs is a union of hearts and religion has no role to play whatsoever.”
Ratansi also gave his blessings to the couple and said, “I believe in humanity. God is called Bhagwan by Hindus and Allah by Muslims. But at the end of the day, we are all human beings. My blessings are with Zaheer and Sonakshi.”
