“We were just fellow contestants on the show and our relationship was purely platonic,” Siwet Tomar said.
MTV Splitsvilla X5: ExSqueeze Me Please has kept audiences hooked to the show ever since its inception. The last week’s eliminations saw Siwet Tomar and Ishita Rawat taking an exit from the dating reality show. During his appearance on the show, Siwet Tomar was accused of denying any love connection between him and Nayera Ahuja, one of his co-contestants on the show. In a recent interview, the Roadies fame has opened up on the accusations made by Nayera.
While speaking with the Times Of India, Siwet Tomar set the record straight for everyone. Calling the accusations made by Nayera ‘false’, he shared, “I don’t even consider Nayera my ex. We were just fellow contestants on the show and our relationship was purely platonic.”
The former contestant of Splitsvilla also expressed his disappointment adding that it was unfortunate that Nayera made false claims. “I’ve always been respectful and professional in my interactions with her and everyone else on the show,” he added.
In the same interview, Siwet Tomar also shared his positive experiences on Splitsvilla. He continued, “I’m grateful for the platform Splitsvilla provided me. I’ve learned so much from my time on the show, and I never thought I’ll find love in the show but I did.”
While Splitsvilla is known for its many shocking twists, Siwet Tomar’s eviction was a turn that fans could not comprehend. Soon after his exit from the show, social media was flooded with rumours about his comeback as a wildcard on the show. As the popular contestant continues to grab headlines for his alleged wildcard, he addressed the same during an interaction with Jagran English.
Denying any chance to enter the show again, Siwet Tomar shared, “Since only 10 days are left for MTV Splitsvilla 15 grand finale, there is no chance for me to enter the show. These are just rumours and so far, I have not gotten any opportunity to be a part of the show as a wild card contestant.”
Meanwhile, Splitsvilla X5: ExSqueeze Me Please premiered on MTV India on March 30. For the season, Sunny Leone has been joined by the actor Tarun Virwani as a new co-host this season. This year, the dating reality show introduced viewers to 21 single young men and women. The participants entered the show to win ‘Dil aur Fame’ through a variety of tasks assigned by the hosts. The show is also available for digital streaming on JioCinema.
