A year after exchanging vows at a beautiful Catholic ceremony in Germany, popular television actress Sreejita De and her beau Michael Blohm-Pape tied the knot in a Bengali traditional ceremony. Their wedding in Goa had close friends and family in attendance. On November 14, Sreejita posted a string of images on social media, allowing a peak into some beautiful moments from her dreamy ceremony. The photos captured the couple beaming with joy while performing rituals. In her caption, the actress wrote, “Cherished for life, taken forever.”
The first image of the carousel featured the newly wedded couple, holding each other’s hands and lovingly gazing at each other. Attached next was a candid picture of the couple as they performed the wedding rituals. The subsequent photos included some solo clicks of the duo. The last few slides screamed love, showcasing some precious moments shared by the duo during the wedding.
For the special occasion, Sreejita De dressed up in a classic red saree featuring bold golden patterns. She paired the same with a fitted matching blouse and elevated the ethereal outfit with beautiful gold jewellery and a traditional topar on her forehead. For added feminine allure, she also wore a golden dupatta draped around her head. On the other hand, her husband looked dashing in a peach sherwani complemented by a maroon dupatta and traditional topor or mukut. The duo exuded pure love, enjoying their time with their loved ones.
Sreejita De and her beau Michael Blohm-Pape’s Catholic wedding last year was equally beautiful. The actress, offering a glimpse into the same, dropped a bunch of photos, celebrating their love and togetherness. The album opened with a beautiful photo of the couple, looking at the altar in the church. It was followed by their closeup photo, allowing us a view of their outfit and accessories. The actress, for the Catholic wedding, wore a pristine white gown while her husband looked dapper in a black suit. Captioning the same, she wrote, “Today we celebrate the beginning of forever, hand in hand.”
Notably, Sreejita De had earlier expressed her wish to get married in Goa, during an interview with Hindustan Times. She even revealed being a beach lover and Goa holding a special place in both her and Michael’s hearts.
