However, Sunil Kumar, also known as Sarkata, shared that his family was unable to watch the movie due to the recent passing of his father.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Sunil Kumar, who played Sarkata in ‘Stree 2’, revealed that his father passed away before the film’s release.The actor shared that his father died on August 12, which prevented him from attending the movie’s screening. Despite this, Kumar has been receiving numerous calls for interviews.
He further disclosed that many local journalists have been reaching out for interviews, but he hasn’t had the time to accommodate them. The actor mentioned that he’s unable to go out at the moment, as he is the eldest in the family, making it challenging to step away.
When asked about his experiences with haunted places or real-life horror stories, Sunil Kumar smiled and shared that he has heard quite a few. He mentioned that his family owns farms a bit away from their home, and his mother would often say that anyone who visits them in the evening might encounter a ghost.
‘Stree 2’ continues the story from where its predecessor left off. While the original ‘Stree’ centered on a female ghost wronged in her past life, the sequel introduces a new threat: a headless villain named Sarkata. This film follows Sarkata’s sinister acts of abducting women who dare to speak out.
