Sunny Leone has indeed come a long way in Bollywood. She started her career with the 2012 film ‘Jism 2’ and has since worked in various successful films, including ‘Ragini MMS 2’, ‘Ek Paheli Leela’, and ‘Mastizaade’.
During her conversation with Galatta India, Sunny Leone reacted to the ‘adult film star tag’ which was associated with her once. The actress expressed that while it was understandable to be labelled with certain tags when she first arrived in India, it has become bothersome that such discussions are still prevalent after 13 years.
Sunny emphasized that it is time to move on and focus on the progress and work she has achieved. She finds it odd that publications continue to use her past for traction, considering the growth and contributions she has made in her career.
Recently, the actress had also spoken about the ongoing judgment she faces despite her successful career spanning over 12 years. “I am human, so of course, people judging in a negative way does affect me. But I think the ever big wall and people in front of me protect me and keep my emotional state always happy. I am in a really good place emotionally with my family and career, and all the people around me. I feel really lucky right now,” Sunny had told The Indian Express.
On the work front, Sunny will be next seen in Anurag Kahsyap’s neo-noir-thriller Kennedy. The movie premiered at the Cannes International Film Festival 2023.
