‘Sweet Home’ Season 3 ranks 5th on Global OTT chart; Tops in multiple countries Filmymeet

The recently released final season of ‘Sweet Home’, which premiered on July 19, has made an impact on Netflix‘s Global Top 10 TV (non-English) chart. For the week of July 15 to July 21, ‘Sweet Home’ Season 3 secured the fifth position on the chart, amassing a total of 2.5 million views. This final chapter of the monsterization saga has achieved remarkable success, breaking into the top 10 in 23 countries, including topping the charts in Indonesia, the Philippines, South Korea, and Vietnam.
Based on the popular webtoon ‘Sweet Home’, this season brings the intense monster-filled narrative to its conclusion. The story follows Hyeon Su (Song Kang), who is grappling with his monstrous transformation while striving to reclaim his humanity. Meanwhile, Nam Sang Won (Lee Shin Sung), now inhabiting Pyeon Sang Uk’s (Lee Jin Wook’s) body, leads a group to the survivors’ stadium with a new and unconventional plan to aid those showing symptoms. The stadium, once thought to be a sanctuary, has become a place of confusion and peril. Adding to the tension, Eun Hyeok (Lee Do Hyun), reborn from a cocoon, emerges in a new and mysterious form. Season 3 presents the dramatic finale of the characters’ desperate struggle as they navigate the thin line between monstrosity and humanity.
In addition to ‘Sweet Home’, another South Korean series has also achieved notable success on the Global Top 10. ‘Miss Night and Day’ claimed the sixth spot with 2.1 million views. This series has been particularly well-received, appearing in the top 10 across 35 countries and reaching the number one position in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan.
‘Miss Night and Day’ centers on Lee Mi Jin (Jung Eun Ji), a job-seeker who has become weary from years of part-time work and job hunting. After an unexpected incident causes her to age into her 50s, she experiences life as a 50-year-old by day and reverts to her 20s by night. Undeterred by this bizarre twist of fate, Lee Mi Jin uses her dual existence to leverage her extensive job-seeking experience and finally lands the job of her dreams. The series also features Gye Ji Woong (Choi Jin Hyuk), a perfectionist prosecutor who finds himself reluctantly entangled with Lee Mi Jin’s unusual situation.
