Taapsee Pannu calls out Turkish Airlines over frustrating 24-hour delay: Worst experience

Actress Taapsee Pannu, widely known for her outspoken nature, recently voiced her frustration with Turkish Airlines on social media, following a significant delay that left her and other passengers stranded for 24 hours. The incident, which she labeled as her ‘worst experience,’ highlighted the challenges faced by her.
In an Instagram story shared in August 2024, Pannu expressed her discontent with Turkish Airlines, stating, “#WorstExperience @turkishairlines, you have the most ‘non-caring’ customer care service.Or wait, you don’t have a customer ‘care’ service itself, especially for passengers who suffer because of your delay. Left to figure it out yourself. Wow, 24 hour delay because of your airline issue is not a passenger’s problem to figure out!”. Her comments reflect a broader sentiment among travelers who often feel abandoned during flight delays.

Taapsee pointed out that passengers were left to navigate the situation independently, as there was no customer support available to assist them during the prolonged wait. The lack of communication from the airline exacerbated the situation, leaving travelers feeling vulnerable and unsupported. The precise reasons behind the 24-hour delay remain unclear.
Apart from Taapsee, South actress Shruti Haasan had also encountered significant flight delays, with IndiGo Airlines. Taking to X, she expressed her frustration about the chaos caused by the situation, tweeting, “Hey, I am not usually one of those who complain, but IndiGo, you really made a big mistake in terms of chaos today. We have been stranded at the airport for the last four hours, and we have no information. Maybe you can think of a better way for your passengers? Information, courtesy, and clarity.”
On the professional front, Taapsee Pannu has been busy with multiple film releases this year. She starred alongside Akshay Kumar in ‘Khel Khel Mein’, which was released in August 2024. Despite its star-studded cast, including Pragya Jaiswal and Ammy Virk, the film did not perform well at the box office. Looking ahead, Pannu has several projects lined up, including an action thriller titled ‘Gandhari’, set to premiere on OTT.
