Actress Tabu, who is currently preparing for the release of ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha,’ has enjoyed success at the box office in recent years.’
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Tabu opened up about the success of her movies ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, ‘Crew‘, and ‘Drishyam 2‘. The actress expressed, “It’s great; it’s fantastic, and I can just feel gratitude for experiencing this kind of success.I just hope that it propels me to do more interesting stuff.”
When queried about her criteria for choosing a film, Tabu highlighted the story, the relevance of her character in the story, and the director as the main parameters. She added that these three things have to fall into place. Whoever else is there in the film, that’s not relevant to her.
Meanwhile, Tabu’s ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha,’ which was earlier slated to be released on July 5, has been postponed. This decision was taken at the request of the exhibitors and distributors as ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is doing exceptionally well at the box office.
The trade and the industry didn’t want both films to be affected by each other, hence, the makers of ‘Auron Mein Kya Dum Tha’ pushed its release date.
The statement read, “Dear friends, on request of the exhibitors and the distribution fraternity, we have collectively decided to shift the release date of our film, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha… New Release date to be announced soon.”
Now, the makers have announced that ‘Auron Mein Kya Dum Tha’ will hit screens on August 2, 2024.
‘Auron Mein Kya Dum Tha’ is a musical love story directed by Neeraj Pandey. MM Keeravani has helmed the film’s music. It also stars Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar in pivotal roles.
