J-Hope is just five days away from finishing his mandatory military service, and thus, fans are getting restless, waiting for his welcome by the ARMY. He has already been through 99% of his service period, and the countdown has begun, with the ARMY buzzing in an endless wait for his return.
J-Hope was enlisted in the South Korean Army on April 18, 2023, and after completing his basic military training, he performed his duty as an assistant training instructor for the 36th Infantry Division based in Wonju.He accepted enlistment after canceling the deferment of his military service which was announced by his agency, BIGHIT MUSIC. Fans appreciated him for sticking to what he deemed his right to be a responsible citizen.In addition to that, the creativity of J-Hope didn’t halt even while he was serving in the military. BIGHIT MUSIC also dropped a six-part docuseries called ‘HOPE ON THE STREET’ in March of last year, where fans learned more about J-Hope’s street dance roots and his artistic journey. In conjunction with the series, the supporting release of the album ‘HOPE ON THE STREET Vol. 1′ included the lead track ‘Neuron,’ featuring collaborations with the artists Gaeko and Yoon Mirae. The docuseries premiered its first episode on Prime Video on March 27, providing a glimpse into what J-Hope’s life was like during his military service and keeping fans connected to his creative endeavors.
With less than a week away from J-Hope’s discharge, the ARMY is super excited about celebrating his return and the extra energy to bring back to the group. That’s a special point on the journey of BTS as they continue an unbelievable ride together.
