Katrina Kaif and Ishaan Khatter were recently seen in the movie Phone Bhoot, where their chemistry was the talk of town! Recently, Katrina expressed her admiration for Ishaan’s work in the comments section of his post, celebrating his Hollywood debut in Nicole Kidman’s series The Perfect Couple.

Katrina Kaif took to Ishaan Khatter’s Instagram to praise his performance in The Perfect Couple, commenting, “You’re too good in the show,” with a clapping emoji.

Ishaan responded with three heart emojis in appreciation. In his post, Ishaan dazzles in a stylish all-denim ensemble, featuring a blue denim shirt and matching pants, accessorized with a black belt, shoes, and sunglasses.

Ishaan, known for movies like Dhadak and Pippa, has made his Hollywood debut with Nicole Kidman’s The Perfect Couple, now streaming on OTT. At the grand premiere in the USA, Ishaan shared insights about his experience working on the show and his connections with the cast.
In an interview with HeyUGuys, Ishaan discussed the importance of camaraderie on set. He explained, “I think it helps a lot to have a feeling of camaraderie. So there is space to play. Most importantly, to be able to trust each other because, on a scale of production such as this, you want to be able to hone it all in and be able to feel like it’s another day of work and focus on the substance of the scene. Focus on trying to find truth in that given moment.”

He elaborated on how the warmth and camaraderie among the cast made the work easier, adding, “When you have the warmth and camaraderie with your colleagues, it only makes that much easier to be able to achieve it. Talking about the characters on the show, Ishaan said, “All of us were assigned very individual characters, and each of them had a unique voice. In my case, if I may say so, for Eve as well, it was important to keep it grounded and to walk a thin line.”
Ishaan also highlighted the show’s engaging plot, saying “There is a whole lot of drama in the show, despite the humour and entertainment. I think that’s what makes it totally unpredictable. There was a whole lot of enjoyment every day of work, like, you never knew what to expect and all of it was in Susanna’s head. So what you see is her overlaying vision.”

Reflecting on his experience, he said, “Just be able to work in an environment so radically different from what I have been exposed to before but at the same time, being able to find comfort in the fact that across the world, what we do is the same thing. We are all storytellers, we are all creators and creative beings and we are all trying to get to the truth of the moment and the crux of the biscuit, so to say. There is a great joy in being able to bring two worlds together. And I am so glad that I had this opportunity.”
Apart from The Perfect Couple, Ishaan is touted to be doing Karan Johar’s next, reportedly reuniting with Dhadak co-star Janhvi Kapoor.
