Vishal Punjabi, renowned as ‘The Wedding Filmer‘, known for capturing iconic weddings like Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli’s, disclosed that he declined Alia Bhatt‘s request to film her wedding with Ranbir Kapoor. He cited being approached close to the wedding date with prior commitments already booked.
During Shivani Pau’s podcast, Vishal Punjabi mentioned that he was unavailable when Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt approached him to film their wedding.He noted that many celebrities make last-minute calls for such events due to the need for secrecy.

He further explained that despite the allure of celebrity weddings, he prioritizes commitments to his scheduled clients. Vishal Punjabi emphasized that he had already committed to filming a wedding in London for a lovely bride, which he wouldn’t cancel for anything, even now. While he regretted not filming Alia and Ranbir’s wedding, he acknowledged that they would have received a memorable wedding video.
