Bollywood‘s Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma share one of the most wholesome friendships in the industry. Both the actors have worked on multiple projects together, one of them being ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. During the promotion of the film, on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, Anushka recalled a funny anecdote that Ranbir had humorously told a fake story about their first meeting in previous interviews.
Anushka remembered that they first met at Yash Raj Studios when he was shooting for ‘Wake Up Sid‘ and she was working on her debut film. But surprisingly, she revealed that Ranbir had created a completely fictional story about their first encounter by saying that she met him at the gym.
During the show, Anushka laughed as she recounted how Ranbir told the story of her supposedly saying, “Oh, sorry. I’ll come later,” when she saw him working out. Ranbir playfully defended his version, insisting it was his story to tell.Anushka clarified that their actual interaction involved polite greetings and a friendly goodbye after they both worked out at the same gym. Despite their playful banter, Ranbir jokingly denied agreeing with her account, claiming he would have remembered if she had worked out in front of him.
Their chemistry was evident as Anushka admitted feeling most comfortable with Ranbir, stating that there’s a unique connection between them as actors. She also mentioned that even though they don’t meet often or talk frequently, there is a mutual understanding and respect that strengthens their bond.
