Throwback: When Akshay Kumar emphasised the importance of choosing entertaining and unique projects

Akshay Kumar has hand a long and successful career in Bollywood ever since his debut in 1991, experiencing both highs and lows. Recently, several of his films, including ‘Sarfira’, and ‘Khel Khel Mein’, have not performed well at the BO. In an old interview, Kumar discussed how audience preferences are changing, and mentioned he is now more careful about his film choices.

In an interview with Forbes India, Akshay Kumar emphasised the importance of choosing entertaining and unique projects that resonate with current times. He noted that it’s crucial to find stories that connect deeply with the audience and provide an experience worth the trip to the theater.
Talking about his greatest strength over his three-decade career, Akshay highlighted his discipline and work ethic. He shared that he adheres to a strict timetable for sleeping, eating, and working. Additionally, he emphasized that staying fit both physically and mentally has been key to his longevity in the industry.

While on the actor, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn’s recent release, ‘Singham Again‘, has taken the box office by storm, with fans raving about their on-screen chemistry. Their off-screen friendship is equally admired, as the two often share lighthearted moments.
Ajay Devgn was asked to share something about Akshay Kumar that might still be unknown to the public. Devgn remarked that he believed people already knew everything about Kumar before adding a humorous comment.
Ajay shared that everyone likely knew about Kumar’s habit of waking up at 4 a.m., and then cheekily added that Kumar was once a ‘milkman,’ suggesting fans should ask him about it the next time, leaving the audience entertained with his candid humour.

In a conversation with Amar Ujala Samvad earlier this year, the ‘Housefull 5’ actor shared details about his morning routine, mentioning that he starts his day around 4 to 4:30 a.m. and goes to bed by 9 to 9:30 p.m. He humorously noted that these early hours are when he finds some peace for himself, as his wife and kids are still asleep, giving him a momentary escape from the day’s stresses.
In the same interview, Kumar also suggested that everyone should make an effort to set aside 2 to 3 hours each day just for themselves. The star emphasized that this personal time doesn’t need to be about exercising; rather, it’s a chance to sit back, reflect, and simply appreciate the surroundings in peace.
