Throwback: When Ranveer Singh said he is ‘protective’ of his personal life Filmymeet

Ranveer Singh must be on top of the world with the arrival of his and Deepika Padukone’s daughter on Sunday. The couple had announced on social media in February that they were expecting, and the child would be due in September. The couple got married on 14th November 2018 after dating for nearly six years.

The couple first met on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ke Raas Leela – Ram Leela- a bollywood adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.Deepika was a last minute addition to the film, she was roped in after Kareena Kapoor Khan walked out of the film. The talks about them dating began circulating pretty much from this film onwards- they went on to work together in films like Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat.
At one point the talk about them dating was extremely strong, but neither of them were either confirming or denying. Ranveer stated in an interview to a news agency some in 2017, that there was too much scrutiny and he doesn’t want to encourage and add to it. And he’s going to be very protective about his personal life, and would like to protect a few aspects of his life. He also added that he’s mostly open and honest about most things, but there are few things that he doesn’t want to share and he hopes that people would respect his decision.
Ranveer’s next is going to be with Aditya Dhar- the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna and Arjun Rampal. He’s also slated to do Don 3 with Farhan Akhtar.
