While talking to Dawn News, Alyy said, “It was a Sunday, and we were shooting a chase sequence in Berlin. Shah Rukh is on the left, I’m on the right, Farhan Akhtar is hiding in the back seat so that he isn’t seen in the shot. On the bonnet, there are HMI lights and two large cameras. All in all, this is equipment worth €300,000 (Rs 2.6 crore). Obviously, this has affected the car’s balance.”
Ironically, in the rehearsal, SRK nailed the scene and told Alyy, “I’ve driven a lot in my day, but thankfully I’ve never had a major accident.”
In a separate video, SRK is seen talking about the accident. He said, “I went and banged into a car. It was not such a difficult shot. I was overconfident, I just went wrong and it was one of the most embarrassing times I have had on a film set.”
Don 2 came out in 2011, and co-starred Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta. Even though Ranveer Singh has been roped in as the next Don, Farhan Akhtar and Shah Rukh Khan will soon work together, as confirmed by Farhan himself. Farhan Akhtar, who recently celebrated 20 years of their film ‘Lakshya’, starring Hrithik Roshan, Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani and Preity Zinta, opened up about the possibility of a future collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan after ‘Don 2’.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Farhan affirmed that they would definitely find something they wanted to work on together. He expressed confidence in this by stating that it was essential to find a common connection with someone and reiterated his certainty. Previously, Farhan had directed Shah Rukh Khan in the 2006 action thriller ‘Don’ and its sequel, ‘Don 2’, which released in 2011. SRK played the iconic role of the titular anti-hero.
Additionally, Shah Rukh made a guest appearance in the production company’s ‘Luck by Chance’, which was the directorial debut of Farhan’s sister, Zoya Akhtar. Moreover, the superstar’s 2017 movie ‘Raees’ was also co-produced by Farhan’s production house.
