Bhavya Gandhi expressed he is getting the opportunity to explore various genres and demonstrate his versatility as an actor.
Bhavya Gandhi, who won hearts with his role of Tappu in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is returning to television screen in a never-seen avatar. He will be seen playing a psychotic antagonist Prabhaas in the show Pushpa Impossible. Besides, the actor will also be seen playing a pivotal role in his Gujarati film Ajab Raat Ni Gajab Vaat, scheduled to hit the theatres on November 15 this year. Amid his busy schedule, Bhavya sat down for a conversation with a media portal, revealing details about his forthcoming projects including a period film with Suniel Shetty.
Bhavya Gandhi said, “As of now, my Gujarati film will be released soon. Titled Om Sweet Om, several segments of the movie have been shot in London, and I hope the audience likes it. I am also doing a period movie, Kesari Veer, alongside Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, and Sooraj Pancholi,” during an interview with Pinkvilla.
Bhavya Gandhi, in the same interaction, admitted to enjoying the current phase of his career wherein he has several opportunities to explore different genres and showcase his versatility as an actor.
Reflecting on his experience about making a return to television, Bhavya Gandhi added, “I’m very excited. Since I’m playing a role that is completely different from what my fans have known me, I’m quite delighted. Even though people don’t like me portraying a psychotic antagonist in Pushpa Impossible, I won’t be disheartened.”
Coming back to Bhavya Gandhi’s Ajab Raat Ni Gajab Vaat, the Gujarati flick marks the first on-screen collaboration between Bhavya Gandhi and Aarohi Patel. A blend of comedy, romance and drama, the film is directed by Prem Gadhvi and Killol Parmar.
To give you some background, Bhavya Gandhi rose to fame with his appearance on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in 2017. Following a successful stint in the show, he went on to make a mark in the Gujarati industry. Now, he will be seen in Pushpa Impossible, starring Karuna Pandey in the lead role. Apart from Karuna, the show also features Naveen Pandita, Darshan Gurjar, Garima Parihar, Deshna Dugad, Jayesh Barbhaya and Bhakti Rathod among others in the key roles.
