Episodes 1 and 2 of Tower of God have already been released, with fans praising the animation and story development as an improvement from the first season.
The story of Tower of God centres on a young man going by Twenty-Fifth Bam, or simply Bam, who has spent the majority of his life imprisoned beneath a large, mysterious tower. One day, Bam’s closest and sole friend, Rachel, decides to enter the tower, leaving Bam upset.After somehow succeeding in opening the Tower’s door, Bam sets out to locate and reunite with Rachel. He and his newfound friends have to pass increasingly challenging tests that measure their strength, cunning, and inventiveness in order to climb each floor of the Tower.
Season 2 picked up 6 years after the story of season 1, focusing on the 20th floor tenant Ja Wangnan. Despite repeatedly failing the test to advance to the next floor, he keeps trying in the hopes of succeeding. During one test, he encounters a group of unique candidates. One of them goes by the name Jyu Viole Grace, but is actually Bam from the first season. Wangnan and the other climbers don’t get along at first, but in the end they grow to be friends and establish a team called Tangsooyook.
Tower of God season 2 episode 3 will be airing on July 21st, 2024, at 11 PM Japanese Standard Time, which is 7:30 PM in Indian Standard Time, 10 AM in Eastern Standard Time and 2 PM in Greenwich Mean Time. New episodes of Tower of God will be released every Sunday at the same time.
