A source told PEOPLE that Kelce attended Swift’s concerts frequently, with his last few being particularly meaningful. The insider mentioned that they knew their time together was coming to an end, and Kelce wanted to make the most of every moment.
Just days before returning to Kansas City Chiefs training camp, Kelce traveled to Germany to support Swift at her Eras Tour stop in Gelsenkirchen. He attended her concerts on July 17 and 18, dressed casually in a black-and-green checkered polo shirt, white shorts, and a baseball cap. Kelce was spotted enjoying the show from a VIP section, featuring a balcony and a closed-off room. After the concert, the couple was seen walking backstage, with Kelce’s arm around Swift’s waist. They also held hands and were affectionate, much to the delight of fans.
Swift will continue her Eras Tour abroad until August 20 before taking a break until November 14. Despite her busy schedule, a source told PEOPLE that Swift plans to attend as many of Kelce’s games as possible this season.
Kelce, who also spent his off-season filming “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity” and Ryan Murphy’s upcoming series “Grotesquerie,” is now back in “football mode.” An insider noted that his team and the Chiefs remain a top priority for him. As he returned to training camp on July 21, the Chiefs highlighted Kelce’s new mustache in an Instagram post, captioning it, ‘KILLA STACHE IS BACK 👨🏻.’
