Triptii shared the screen with Avinash for the first time in the 2018 romantic drama ‘Laila Majnu.’ Reflecting on her experience, she lauded Avinash for his supportive and kind nature, emphasizing how he ensured that not only his performance, but also everyone else on set was outstanding. Triptii credited Avinash for helping her hone her skills and suggesting she attend an acting workshop, which she said completely transformed her approach to acting.
Triptii elaborated on how ‘Laila Majnu’ laid a strong foundation for her. Back in the day, she relied heavily on her instincts and the director’s guidance, admitting that she knew very little about the nuances of acting. Recalling her first day on set, she confessed that she struggled with her scenes, but by the last day, she had gained significant confidence and competence in her craft. “I’ve significantly grown as an actor with that film,” she concluded.
Despite having worked on a limited number of projects, Triptii has carved a niche for herself in the industry and garnered a massive fan following. After her debut in ‘Poster Boys,’ she appeared alongside Sridevi in ‘Mom.’ Later the Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’ gave her much more recognition with audiences terming her as the ‘National Crush’.
Most recently, Triptii ventured into comedy with ‘Bad Newz,’ starring Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk. Except for the trendy song ‘Tauba Tauba’, ‘Bad Newz’ failed to impress the audiences.
