Actor Triptii Dimri, who starred opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the blockbuster movie ‘Animal’, gained widespread recognition for her extended cameo. She talked about her experience working with him in an interview, and she mentioned that he was quite understanding with her on set. Although their conversations remained within the usual cordial exchange, she expressed her enjoyment of their interactions with each other. After Animal made nearly Rs 900 crore worldwide, Triptii went on to land major roles in a number of prominent films.
During a conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia on his podcast, She was questioned regarding her interactions with Ranbir, who has become one of the most successful actors of his generation. She shared, “As an actor, you have to be very calm and secure as a person. When you’re a good person, if you believe in helping others, that makes a big difference. And I felt that with Ranbir.”
She further added, “I remember, during my big confession scene, I was under extreme performance pressure that day. I kept flubbing my lines over and over again. An actor I’ve admired all my life is standing in front of me, I’m supposed to perform the scene with him… We shot this scene in the early days, but something was off that day. Normally, I’m able to cry on cue, but that day, no matter what I did, I couldn’t cry. That day, all I needed was a little support from someone. And that’s what Ranbir gave me.”
Despite having four sequences scheduled for that day, she claimed no one put any pressure on her to get her act together. In the end, they only filmed one, but Ranbir was forgiving. Triptii was greatly reassured when he told her that they would work according to her comfort level. She added, “I felt safe, I felt I could be myself and experiment with my craft. I didn’t have the fear of messing up.” She also stated that Ranbir is a “curious” person who is constantly eager to learn more about other people.
On the work front, Triptii can currently be seen in the recently-released film ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Voh Wala Video’ alongside Rajkummar Rao. She is gearing up for the release of her much-anticipated film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ starring Kartik Aryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri.
